Welcome to the 2013 All Star Home Page! It's that time of year again! Here at Bonita Valley Girls ASA fast pitch softball, we have selected eight All Star teams to represent BVGASA throughout the summer. We will follow all eight of the teams here with schedules, pictures, and team performance as the information becomes available.

Big weekend coming up for our Gold All-Star Teams. All 4 teams cleaned up at the District Championships recently and are now headed to Lancaster, California for the Southern California B State Championships! A huge event that will put our teams up against over 100 of the best 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U teams Southern California has to offer.

Too far to go but want to support our teams? You can make a huge difference by helping them get there. They went out and won their way to an invite. Now we need to get them up there. Yes! I am talking about fundraisers.

The 12 Gold is holding a Poker Fundraiser on Friday, 12 July. Here is the flier. Please watch for more for the other 3 teams and support them wherever you can. Our girls worked very hard this summer for a chance at this tournament. Lets help them get there!

All of the BV All Star teams were in the house at the Poway Summer Heat tourney this past weekend and were in full domination mode! Our 8 teams played 40 games and won 37 of them and tied another two. We played in 7 divisions and took home the hardware in all seven with 6 Championships and a Runner Up! Yikes!

For the Gold teams, this coming weekend is what we have been working for. A strong finish at the District Championships will qualify to go to the State Championships a few weeks later. This is it! The Districts will be held at the Santee Towncenter. See the All Star Schedule page for the tournament link.

The Silver and Bronze teams are headed to North County again. This time for the Tournament Del Sol. Use the link on the All Star Schedule page.

The first days of June were exceptional ones for Bonita Valley All Stars! Of our eight (8) teams playing, we took five (5) Championships and two (2) made it into the Semi-finals. We had a number of shutouts, a couple of come-from-behind victories and 2 no-hitters with one of them a perfect game!

Next weekend our Gold teams head back up north to Los Alamitos and all others slip over to East County for Santee's Bring On The Heat tournament. Yeah. BV will surely be bringing the heat!

All Star Picture Day is June 3rd from 5:00-7:00pm. The team Moms have the schedule and will put it out to the team players and parents.

Memorial Day weekend was marked with another stellar performance by our terrific All Star teams! More hardware all over da house! Lets keep the momentum going. Six of our teams are headed north to Orange County for the Yorba Linda Tournament with the other two staying in San Diego, attending the Scripps Ranch Tournament. Good Luck everyone!

This weekend the league All Stars hit the road again but in slightly different directions. The 14U team heads to North County for the San Dieguito Tournament. The 12 Gold team takes a long trip up to Ventura County for the Thousand Oaks Tournament. The 8 Silver heads northeast to Riverside County for the Murrieta Summer Bash Tournament and all other BV All Star teams stay local as they attend the Clairemont Classic.

BV was in da house at the Corky Russell tournament this weekend and the whole county knows it! They hosted 10 age/class divisions and our eight (8) Bonita Valley All Star teams won 4 of them, took a second place and made the semi-finals in 3 divisions! The next closest league took just 2 divisions. Bring it ladies! All season long.

All BV All Star teams will compete this coming weekend at the 15th Annual East County Corky Russell Classic in El Cajon. The tournament starts on Friday, 17 May, with all BV teams playing their first Pool Play game on Saturday. Each team will play two Pool Play games on Saturday to determine the seeding for the single elimination bracket play that starts on Sunday morning. Come on out and support your team!
