12U Gold Captures Championship Again

WOW!!! What another awesome weekend. It was HOT, HOT, HOT but our BV bats were even HOTTER. We had smart defensive plays, fantastic pitching, superb baserunning, and tremendous hitting. You girls make all of us coaches and all of the parents so proud.

Now it is a new week. We have to get prepared for this weekends District Tournament. This is step one toward our ultimate goal. Let's stay focused and stay on track and work real hard to win the tournament this week.

Remember this for this week: "The challenge for every team is to build a feeling of oneness, of dependence on one another... because the question is usually not how well each person plays, but
how well they play together."

It's all about teamwork girls -- let's stay together, let's win together!!!

Poway Tournament Champs

Girls,
Way to bounce back after being runner up at SHB last week. It was an
outstanding all around team effort to win the tournament this
weekend. All 16 of you contributed to in one way or another. Now it
is a new week and we have to get geared up for some tough competition
in the Los Alamitos tournament. Let's work hard this week and of
course don't forget to have fun too.

Remember this: "Success doesn't come to you.... you go get it."

Thank you girls for working so hard you are all a pleasure to work
with. I am looking forward to the rest of the season.
Also a great big thanks to Coach Lance, Kiko, John, and Juan. We
certainly would not be so successful without you all. As always
thanks to the parents for all of your positive encouragement and
support.

Let's go get them in Los Al.

Great Tournament 12U Gold

Girls,
I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of the way you girls played
over the weekend. Even though we did not win the tournament I know
that our team is right there with the SHB team. I know that you
girls gave 100% effort and even though we came up short on the
scoreboard, there is nothing to be ashamed of. We will learn from
our loss and come out on the winning end next time. Keep working
towards our team goals and your own personal goals you have set for
yourself. We still have a lot of summer left.

Remember this: "Never let defeat have the last word."

Parents,
I forgot to thank you all for your positive support for the girls
this weekend. You all did an outstanding job keeping the girls
focused and ready to go. It was two very long days of games. Keep
up the great work and let's take them down next week in SHB. Go BV!!
